4 Party Agents nabbed with Hundreds of Credit Cards to buy Votes in Ogun

Four party agents with hundreds of money credit cards, to buy votes at Ibara housing estate, have been intercepted by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA on election duty stop and search in Ogun state.

Nigeriacrime.com learned that each card contains 10k and is activated to cash with a code.

“The Chairman NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa has directed they be handed over to the police after proper documentation.”

In a related development About five political thugs have been apprehended by security operatives in Ibiono Ibom local government area of Akwa Ibom State.

A source in the security agency said that they were trying to snatch election materials when security operatives swooped on them.

It was gathered that locally made rifle was recovered from the hoodlums.

Meanwhile, some hoodlums have disrupted the voting process in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state, dispersing INEC officials and other electorates.

Voting was ongoing at Ataoja Ward 5 polling units 10 and 11 when some hoodlums arrived at the units and shoot sporadically into the air to disperse INEC officials, party agents and electorates in the queue.

The hoodlums did not cart away with the ballot box but they disrupted the process and forced both officials and electorates from the two units which are close to one another.
