Rida Driver Confesses To Making N700,000 From Robbing Passengers

A 29-year-old Rida driver, Jeremiah Adeniran, has confessed that he is a part of a syndicate specialised in robbing passengers of their monies.

The suspect, who was arrested in July, told newsmen that he made N700,000 as his own share from robbing four of his passengers in less than two months.

Adeniran was nabbed a day after he and two of his gang members disposed a woman of her iPhone 14 and the sum of N60,000.

According to the suspect, the syndicate carry out their operations on Friday nights due to the fact that people don’t move at night on other weekdays.

“We share any money we make equally among the three of us. In total, I have made about N700,000 in less than two months, if I am not mistaken.

“I have robbed four people in total. It’s strictly on Friday operations because on Monday, Tuesday, no one work at midnight so on Friday is our best time” Adeniran said.
