The Nigeria Police Force has vowed to carry out a diligent investigation into the death of late Afrobeat star, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as MohBad.
This was made known by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement made available on Thursday.
The FPRO called on associates and friends of the deceased with valuable information to assist the police with it.
“The Nigeria Police Force is committed to a comprehensive investigation into this matter, as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been tasked to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death. Rest assured, updates will be provided as investigations unfold,” the statement read.
He added, “In the meantime, we kindly request that individuals refrain from making statements or engaging in activities that could jeopardize the ongoing investigation. Your trust and support are deeply valued.”

Late Tuesday, the singer died at a Lagos hospital after allegedly battling with an ear infection.
However, videos of assault against the deceased by some members of his former record label, Marlian Records, have continued to generate reactions as Nigerians are calling for the arrest of one Sam Larry, an associate of Naira Marley.
In another news, a commuter vehicle encountered a roadside improvised explosive device ambush on KARETO Road in the Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State, Northeast Nigeria.
The suspected IED is believed to have been laid for troops by the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), to be followed by a gun attack.
One passenger was killed, and five others sustained varying degrees of injuries while the commuter vehicle was damaged.
However, troops of 5 Brigade Operation Hadin Kai conducted fighting clearance patrols to the scene and cleared the area before recovering the corpse and injured to Gubio Town.
Before the recovery of the victims of the ambush, troops exchanged gunfire with the terrorists lurking behind the scene.
Casualties are unascertained as the terrorist fled the scene on one xGT and several motorcycles.
