The Lagos State Police Command has declared Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, wanted following his alleged refusal to honour the invitation of the police in connection to the death of Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
A bounty of N1,000,000 was also placed on him.
This was made known by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post he made on X on Wednesday.
The PPRO said, “Following his failure to honour police invitation successfully sent to him since the commencement of investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Owodunni Ibrahim aka Prime Boy.
“Ibrahim is approximately 1.64-m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.

“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest.”
Earlier today, NIGERIACRIME reported that Naira Marley submitted himself to the police for investigation late Tuesday.
The musician had earlier deny having a hand in the death of his colleague saying, “In the last few days, there has been a lot of onslaught on my person and reputation globally over the death of my former signee. All manner of stories have been woven against me in respect of his untimely death.
“I have not only been in shock over the death of the deceased, whom I considered to be my brother and member of our music family, but over the various lies spread and threats against me.
“Before I progress further, let me say that as it is traumatic for a lot of people to bear the reality of lleri’s death, so it is to me. May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace, and may God grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he stated.
