The official relationship between Nigerian recording artiste, Mohbad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba and the owner of Marlian Records, Naira Marley has come to an end.
The legal representatives of Mohbad served a notice of contract termination on the record label owner over alleged assault.
Recall that Mohbad, earlier in the week, shared a a video clip, where alleged that the Marlian crew assaulted him after he tried to change his manager, who is member of the crew.

On Tuesday, 25th 2022, Mohbad’s lawyers served Naira Marley’s Marlian Records with notice of contract termination.
According to the letter, which was titled, “Termination Notice” Naira Marley orchestrated the violent attack by the Marlian crew on Mohbad.
Naira Marley was also accused of owing all royalties and advances due to the recording artiste, Mohbad, as agreed in the contract entered into in 2019.
The letter also stated that it was on the basis that Mohbad was terminating his contract with Marlian Records, adding that Naira Marley pay all the royalties, advances, and all monetary compensation due to Mohbad under the contract.
The letter also demanded that Naira Marley hands back to Mohbad the catalog of all the songs released under Marlian Records.
