A notorious drug dealer, Aminu Abukasim, who specializes in supplying illicit drugs to terrorists in the forest is currently being investigated by the Katsina State Police Command.
Aminu Abukasim was arrested during a burst operation by operatives attached to the Command.
NigeriaCrime.com gathered that on 22nd October at about 1 pm, based on a tip-off, the Command succeeded in raiding a criminal hideout, at Danmarke village, Jibia, the house of Aminu Abukasim, a notorious drug peddler that specializes in supplying illicit drugs to terrorists in the forest.
At the time of the suspect’s arrest, thirty-one (31) packets of EXOL-5 tablets and thirty (30) packets of TRAMADOL tablets were retrieved from him.
Confirming the suspect’s arrest, the Public Relations Officer, Katsina State Police Command SP Gambo Isah said the suspect confessed to the crime and mentioned three accomplices including his father.
According to Isah on October 22, at about 1300hrs, based on a tip-off, the Command succeeded in raiding a criminal hideout, at Danmarke village, Jibia, the house of one Aminu Abukasim, a notorious drug peddler that specializes in supplying illicit drugs to terrorists in the forest.”
“Nemesis caught up with the suspect, as he was arrested with thirty-one (31) packets of EXOL-5 tablets and thirty (30) packets of TRAMADOL tablets. In the course of the investigation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the offence and mentioned three (3) other suspects to be his accomplices including his biological father who is now at large. The investigation is ongoing,” he added.
In a related development, a suspected Indian hemp dealer, Ukashatu Idris, was arrested in Funtua Local Government Area of the state.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Katsina State Police Command SP Gambo Isa, 27 bags of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered from the suspect.
“On October 25th at about 5:30 pm, based on credible intelligence, the command succeeded in arresting Ukashatu Idris aged 25 years old of Kiyaki village, Bungudu LGA of Zamfara state, a notorious drug dealer,” he said.

Meanwhile, on October 11, 2022, based on credible intelligence, the Command carried out sting operations in criminal hideouts and succeeded in tracing and recovering four stolen motor vehicles.
