Sahabi Halidu Ibrahim, the youngest son of Chief of Fadan Ayu, in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
NIGERIACRIME gathered that the attackers invaded the resident of the Chief on Saturday, at about 11pm.
The gunmen reportedly came to abduct the Chief but met his son, whom they whisked away.
The abduction was confirmed by the Ayu Traditional Council Secretary, Jibril Adamu Muhammed, who said from all indications, the attackers were after the traditional ruler because they went straight to his room and started shooting.
According to him, the gunmen fired many gunshots on his door but God protected him.
He said as the attackers found it difficult to get away with the Chief, they took his youngest son, Sahabi.

The abductors were said to have rejected to negotiate with the mother of the victim, who picked their call for negotiation. They reportedly insisted on negotiating with the father.
Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Police Command said its operatives have arrested four men who allegedly robbed a man of his Suzuki minibus and phone in the Aramoko Ekiti area of the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Moronkeji Adesina, identified the suspects as Kunle (31), Waheed (20), Taiwo (19) and Adele Samuel (23).
Adesina, according to a statement on Tuesday by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, said the suspects were trailed to Langbasa, Lagos State, where they were arrested on December 14 by the Anti-Vehicle Theft Section of the Ekiti State Police Command.
He said, “During investigation, the Itel phone taken away was recovered while effort is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicate and recover the mini-bus hijacked from the victim. The arrested suspects will be arraigned as soon as investigation is concluded.”
