There was tension in the Trans-Amadi part of Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State as some unknown car snatchers stabbed a car dealer to death.
The incident was said to have happened on Ordinance Road on Tuesday.
NIGERIACRIME learnt that the attackers, who were four in number, overtook the car of the deceased motorist, who was driving a Toyota Matrix around 9pm and forced him to stop.
It was also gathered that the car dealer stepped out of his car and queried the assailants after the hoodlums asked him to surrender his car key to them.
The deceased was said to have grabbed one of the assailants and started struggling with him after he threw his car key inside the automobile.

According to a source, “The man hit him on the floor and in the process, the other gang members came, descended on him and started stabbing him till he was unconscious.
“So, they left him with his car, went into their car, and drove off. People rushed the man to a hospital, where he gave up the ghost.”
The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Grace Iringe-Koko.
Iringe-Koko, a Superintendent of Police, said investigation had commenced into the incident with a view to unraveling the cause and apprehending the culprits.
She said, “About three people attacked the man and stabbed him. Thereafter, he was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.”
