The Grow Home Estate in the Chikakore area of Kubwa, a satellite town of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has been invaded by gunmen, suspected to be Kidnappers.
The invaders were said to have abducted several residents of the estate a pastor, whose name had yet to be ascertained, his wife and three children.
It was also gathered that the kidnappers left with no fewer than 15 persons during the one-hour assault, which occurred around 10 pm last Friday.
The assaulters reportedly shot sporadically before making away with several victims.
The gunmen, according to reports, escaped with their victims through the forests at about 11pm but gunshots from the vigilantes forced them to allow about seven persons to escape.

However, the pastor, his wife and children remained with the abductors.
Policemen from the Byzahin division and the Kubwa Area Command had visited the scene for preliminary findings and interrogated some of the victims.
The FCT police authorities have yet to release any statement on the attack.
In another news, an early morning fire has razed down some parts of a popular foodstuffs market, known as singer in Kano State.
An eyewitness disclosed that the fire started late in the night and continue to destroy shops and warehouses, on Monday.
He said the fire could not be quenched until Monday morning with combined efforts of the fire service and other security agencies.
He said the incident destroyed many shops and foodstuffs worth millions of naira.
The state Police Command Spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident.
