Four officers have been reportedly killed in an attack on a police station in Imo state.
The assailants were said to have overrun the police station in Agwa, Oguta LGA of the state on Friday night.
A section of the police station, including vehicles in the yard, were said to have been set ablaze.
Imo police spokesperson, Mike Abattem, confirmed the development on Saturday.

“It’s true four officers were killed,” he said.
According to a source the gunmen also attacked the home of a commercial motorcycle rider and shot him dead.
“I was already inside when I started hearings sounds of gunshots. I didn’t bother coming outside because it was safer to stay indoors than to come outside,” a source was quoted as saying.
“They also went to the house of an Okada man known as Ejike, shot him dead and shot his wife. His wife is alive.”
