The Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Ogboni Fouad Oki, has been suspended over allegation of gross misconducts.
The tenure of the embattled chairman, who was elected barely four months ago was put on hold by the board members of the state ruling body.
NIGERIACRIME learnt that five board members were in support of the suspension of Oki, while four are against it, making it a total of nine members who voted.
The board members led by vice chairman of the association, Alhaji Liameed Olawale Gafar in his address to the media on Tuesday afternoon stated the offences Oki committed which violates the rules and regulations of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
He said the LSFA boss violated the NFF statues by not attending the NFF Congress with no excuse and without the knowledge of the LSFA Board.
Gafar revealed that the embattled chairman also changed the association logo without approval of the board and the congress.

Oki also denying the Nigerian Professional League (NPFL) A1 Camera delegates access to test-run the A1 camera prior to the commencement of the league.
Gafar said the LSFA embattled boss has total disregard to NFF instructions on NPFL rules and regulations regarding branding and streaming of matches.
According to him, Oki went ahead to release 2023/2024 NNL season match day logistics to NNL Clubs without the knowledge of the board.
Gafar also disclosed that Oki had a loggerhead with Lagos State Sports Commission on the use of facilities and spoiling a hitherto amiable relationship.
He further said the board members suspended Oki for delaying and stopping several youth tournaments, recreational football and threatening teams to move out of Lagos.
He however said Oki Initiated independence of LSFA outside of the authority of NFF.
Also, in a video obtained by NIGERIACRIME, the vice chairman, who was shouting “oppression is over” alleged that he was assaulted by the embattled chairman.
