“Next thing, the officials started harassing the driver and began to drag the steering with him. He (driver) came down and they packed all the passengers. Getting to where they were, the question I asked them was; Now you have arrested this bus, we that are passengers please help, put us in another vehicle so that we can continue our journey since no other vehicle will stop while you are here.

“That is what I said, that they should please stop a vehicle and put us (the passengers) in a vehicle so that we can continue our journey, and the MOT task force pounced on me. They started hitting me with hard objects to the existent that they broke my head and inflicted wounds everywhere. They punched my jaws and all parts of my body.

“I have internal injuries. All my jaws, my teeth, my neck, my leg; I am really brutalised for committing no crime. See my clothes bathed in blood. See my head and my face. I am calling for justice. I need justice. I didn’t commit any crime to warrant such brutal treatment from government officials.”

Efforts to get the reaction of the State Ministry of Transport MOT Taskforce, were unsuccessful as of press time.
