Man Arrested For Stealing Two Power Generators In Ogun

A man, identified as Adegboyega Sulaimon Adesanya, has been reportedly arrested by operatives of the Ogun State Command of the So-Safe Corps for allegedly stealing two power generators.

According to information gathered by NIGERIACRIME, the corps operatives apprehended the suspect while on routine patrol around 5:30 am in the Ijebu-Ode area of the state on Tuesday.

Confirming the arrest of Adesanya in a statement on Thursday, the spokesperson of the corps, Moruf Yusuf, quoted the So-Safe’s Commander, Soji Ganzallo, to have said that the suspect was apprehended “having stolen two Okayama and Elepaq generating sets.”

Ganzallo disclosed to newsmen that the suspect stole the items right inside a house at Adelaja Street, off Ondo Road, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

According to the corps commander, Adesanya, who confessed to committing the crime in the course of interrogation, also disclosed his modus operandi.

The suspect was said to have been responsible for series of robberies in that locality.

It subsequently came to light that the suspect had earlier of broke into a poultry farm at Idomowo, Ijebu Ode where he made away with a large number of fowl.
