A notorious bandit has been killed by operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The police also recovered a motorcycle during the operation.
Nigeriacrime.com learned that the gallant operatives swung into action immediately, police received an intelligence report that armed bandits were seen riding on motorcycles, dressed in military camouflage in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State
Confirming the incident, Spokesperson of the Police Command, DSP Muhammad Jalige said on 7/5/2023 at about 10:30 am “Operatives attached to 47 Police Mobile Force (PMF) deployed to Kaya on routine patrol along Fatika Road, sighted a gang of armed bandits riding on motorcycles, dressed in military camouflage.”
” The gallant operatives swung into action immediately and engaged the bandits in a fierce gun duel and were given a hot chase in the process, one bandit dressed in military camouflage was neutralized, while others escaped with varying degrees of bullet wounds, one bandit’s operational motorcycle was recovered

Meanwhile, aggressive patrols along the road have been intensified with a view to forestall future occurrence.”
“The Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, CP MY. Garba commended the gallantry and professionalism exhibited by the personnel while urging them to sustain the onslaught against banditry and other forms of criminalities in the State,” he said.
Recall that the operatives had in a renewed vigour, arrested over 300 suspected criminals in the state recently, a development that had rid the state capital of the activities of notorious killer gangs popularly called “Sara Suka ” in Hausa language which could be loosely translated as ” hack and stab” gang.
