Two people have been reportedly shot dead by some yet-to-be-identified security operatives in a convoy.
These people were in a tricycle at Ogbromo Junction, in the Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred around 7am on Wednesday.
The operatives were said to be overzealous and had fired gunshots at the two passengers while their tricycle attempted to overtake the convoy.

Sources said one of the operatives furiously came down and opened fire on the occupants of the tricycle, killing the two passengers.
Pandemonium reportedly enveloped the entire vicinity, as enraged residents and passersby attacked the perpetrators as well as other security men in the area.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident but said the identities of the operatives were unknown.
The PPRO told journalists that the police had launched an investigation into the incident with a view to unravelling the perpetrators.
