Pregnant Woman Arrested For Stabbing Teenage Maid

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old pregnant woman, Eucheria Ndigwe for allegedly stabbing her teenage maid, Chinaze Aneme.

It was gathered that Ndigwe, who is currently in the custody of the police, committed the crime because the maid failed to wash her bag.

One of the neighbours of the pregnant woman made a video of the maid’s plight and posted it online, generating reactions from different social media users.

Confirming the suspect’s arrest in a message he posted on his Twitter handle, @BenHundeyin, on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the victim was receiving medical attention at the police hospital.

Hundeyin also disclosed that because of her condition, the suspect had been moved to the command’s gender unit where she would get adequate medical attention while the investigation continues.

The man, who referred to himself as a concerned neighbour, described the actions of the woman and her husband as “appalling.”
