Popular chef, Damilola Adeparusi, better known as Chef Dammy, has been arrested by the Police in Ondo State.
Chef Dammy’s arrest followed an alleged petition filed against her by her pastor, Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah, a.k.a Billion Dollars Prophet.
NIGERIACRIME gathered that men of the Police AIG zone 17 in Akure, the capital of Ondo State picked up the popular chef on Thursday.
The information was confirmed by the spokesperson for Zone 17, DSP Hakeem, who revealed that the chef was invited by the police following a petition filed against her.
He, however, said, “She is no longer in our custody. She was not detained.”
DSP Hakeem stated that Dammy honored the invitation and was thererafter granted administrative bail after providing a surety.
Chef Dammy who came to limelight after attempting to have her name on the Guinness World Records for the longest hours of cooking, recently called out Billion Dollars Prophet on social media, saying he should be held responsible if anything happened to her.
The Ekiti-born chef took to her Instagram page to disclose that her life was in danger. She said that she had been living in constant fear and was close to dying a few days ago.
She wrote, “By the time we are done with you, you will not be able to stand on your feet again’.
“This was from the acclaimed ‘people of God’. Among many of the countless insults, curses, threats and bullying.
“Now, I understand the content of 1 Peter 4:17: Surely judgment will begin from the house of God’.
“The first time the man of God tried to challenge my God he failed, then he told me to prepare for war. But these are the people of God, are they not supposed to be Godly?
“Assuming I had died a few days ago, people would’ve understood better what I’ve been facing, by the testimony of those around me. But I’ll still try and bind my piece because it is a testimony that others can learn from.
“I know about gods that is why I chose the undefeatable God. Surely, they shall gather, but they that be with me are more than they that be with them. I’ve been in constant fear for my life.
“Countless times they’ve tried to destroy me as promised, but with God I keep moving as if nothing ever happened.
