The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Zamfara wing has cautioned against the continuous attacks and killings of Fulanis in the state.
This follows the recent attack on a nomadic village in the Anka Local Government Area of the state by Yansakai, an outlawed vigilante group.
Conveying their message, the State Public Relations Officer of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Abdulahi Shehu, condemned the incident saying that the action was inhuman and condemnable.
“It is inhuman for some outlawed vigilante members to be attacking some law-abiding and innocent Fulani community in some parts of the state,” he lamented.
The PRO also described the recent attack in the area by the group of outlawed vigilante members popularly known as Yansakai as barbaric and inhumane, demanding immediate action by the concerned authorities to checkmate their activities in the state.

As part of efforts to end insecurity in the country, the PRO pledged that the association would join forces with the state government and other conventional security agencies to terminate the activities of armed bandits for peace to reign in the state.
“The association does not support the attacks and kidnappings in Anka, Tsafe and other parts of the state as being speculated in the state.
“I am making it very clear that the MACBAN in Zamfara State has never been involved in sponsoring or masterminding any attack or kidnapping of innocent people in the state. So, we distance ourselves from all the speculations making the rounds in the state”
