A mob has beaten a suspected tricycle robber to a pulp in Delta State.
The angry mob rushed to the scene of the robbery following the cry of a female passenger who was forcefully dispossessed of her mobile phones and other valuables, NIGERIACRIME gathered.
It was learnt that two of the gang members escaped from the scene of the robbery, which is along Effurun Roundabout and PTI express road in the state, while one was caught.
According to reports, the gang members attacked the middle-aged victim had joined the tricycle painted in commercial colour from Airport road enroute PTI junction and robbed her of her belongings.
They reportedly dispossessed of her mobile phones, a bag containing a sum of N5,000 and some other vital documents.

The victim cried out for help when the robbers attempted to throw her out of the speeding tricycle.
It was learnt that the passers-by rushed to the scene of the robbery when they heard the cry of the woman and gave the suspects hot chase.
The good Samaritans intercepted the suspects’ tricycle on sighting the wailing victim still crying for help.
Two of the suspected robbers escaped and took to their heels while one was caught by an irate mob who beat him almost to death before the intervention of security operatives from the Nigeria police.
While narrating her ordeal, the victim said she entered the commercial painted tricycle from Airport road to PTI junction before she was attacked and robbed by the three suspected robbers of her mobile phones, bag containing a sum of N5,000 and some documents.
The police public relations officer for Delta State Command, Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comments on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
