Two wives of the traditional ruler of Sarkin Kudu, Dansalama Adamu, in Ibi Local Government Council of Taraba State have been abducted by yet-to-be- identified gunmen.
NIGERIACRIME also gathered that a son of the monarch was kidnapped alongside his wives during the attack on his home.
The development was confirmed by the the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Usman Abdullahi, in a statement he issued to journalists on Saturday.
According to the police spokesperson, the incident occurred on Friday in Ibi.
As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the victims were still unknown.

But the police image maker revealed that operatives of the command have made some arrests in connection with the occurrence.
Abdullahi added that the arrested suspects are presently assisting the police with useful information that will lead to the arrest of other suspects.
He pledged that the police will leave no stone unturned to rescue the victims unhurt.
The unknown gunmen reportedly stormed the premises of the monarch in the Serkin Kudu community of the council when he was out of the house.
The attack comes barely a month after the two wives and six children of the monarch of Mutum-Biyu in Gassol local government council of the state, were killed by their abductors in Taraba.
