Two businessmen in the Garaku area of Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The unknown gunmen were said to have invaded the homes of their business owners in Dadin and whisked them to an undisclosed location on Wednesday.
According to a source from the community, before whisking their victims away, the heavily armed gunmen shot sporadically into the air to scare residents away.
The operation reportedly lasted for an hour, but the source confirmed that no life was lost in the attack.

An aide to the council chairman, who confirmed the abduction, said the victims were Nigerians of Igbo background who had lived and traded in the area and environs for over 20 years.
He called for calm and expressed confidence that the security had since been notified and would rescue the victims unhurt and reunite them with their families.
All efforts to reach the spokesperson of the state police command has not yielded a positive result as he has refused to tend to his calls.
