Two persons on Wednesday were sentenced to death by hanging by Justice Adekunle Adeleye in an Ado-High Court.
The convicts identified as Kazeem Olafisoye and Owolaabi Usman bagged the death sentence for Conspiracy and Armed Robbery and life imprisonment for attempt to murder.
NigeriaCrime.com gathered that the two convicts were charged and arraigned before Justice Adekunle Adeleye on a three-count charge.
According to the charge, the convicts and one other now at large robbed one Odo Charity and her household of the sum of ₦40,000 at gunpoint and Attempted to Murder Ugwe Ebuka by matcheting him with a cutlass at Ekute, Ado Ekiti.
The 1st convict was overpowered by good samaritans in the neighbourhood whilst the other gang members ran away.
The prosecution team led by the Director of Public Prosecutions-Julius Ajibare called 4 witnesses and tendered 5 Exhibits to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.
