The Nigeria Police Force has vowed to take more skit makers into custody over their outrageous pranks.
This was disclosed by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a tweet he made on Tuesday night while condemning a viral prank video.
According to the police image maker, efforts are ongoing to apprehend extravagant pranksters.
Adejobi shared a prank video where a prankster released a dog on a commuter who chased him to his compound after he flogged him while on bike.
Retweeting the video, the FPRO wrote, “You see am? If he’s arrested now, many will still be attacking the police, that it’s a business. Imagine… anyway, every day for the thief, a day for the owner. Make em dey do am dey go.”
NIGERIACRIME recently reported that an Oyo-based skit maker, Trinity Guy, was arrested over “immoral prank” after series of warnings from the police regarding his extreme prank videos.
He was consequently arraigned and remanded by an Oyo State Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, over alleged sexual exploitation of a 10-year-old minor.
