It was gathered that the incident happened at Ofili’s residence on the Greenville Estate, Badore, in the Ajah area of Lagos State.
Okon was said to have paid the suspect a visit and while the two women were discussing, an argument, which later degenerated into a scuffle, ensued between the two friends.
Ofili was said to have rushed to her kitchen, where she picked a knife she used to stab her friend in the neck, NIGERIACRIME gathered.
According to source within the suspect’s compound, the cause of the scuffle is unknown to them, adding that when they heard them shouting at each other, efforts to open the door to separate them were unsuccessful.
However, the landlord and other tenants were said to have forced the door open, during which they discovered that Ofili had stabbed her friend with a knife in her neck and back.
