The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has confirmed the arrest of a woman, suspected to be a drug dealer.
The woman, Celina Ekeke was caught at Obunku community, in the Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Emmanuel Ogbumgbada, spokesperson for the agency in the state, in a statement on Thursday, said the female suspect was arrested with 24 sacks of cannabis sativa weighing 231.2kg.
According to the statement, Ekeke used her disability as a disguise to sell drugs.

“On Wednesday, June 29, 2022, around 2am, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in the Etche area command of Rivers State carried out a search operation at Obunku community of Oyigbo LGA and arrested one Celina Ekeke, a notorious drug dealer with 24 sacks of cannabis sativa weighing 231.2kg,” the statement reads.
“She has been on the watch list of the agency for some time now as she uses her deformed legs to disguise and sell illicit drugs. She is presently undergoing investigation at the Rivers State command headquarters.”
