3 siblings kidnapped in Ikeja, Lagos

Three siblings have been abducted by yet to be identified person while returning from school on Thursday.

Nigeriacrime.com learned that the siblings identified as Otulana Oluwatomisin Victoria, 15, an SS2 student, while her two younger sisters are: Otulana Oluwadarasimi Esther, 12, and Otulana Modesire Annabelle 8 were abducted in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to the mother of the victims Mrs Otulana, I was called by the abductors to inform me that my children had been abducted. My family has been in grief since last week, especially as the abductors were yet to give any condition for the release of my children.

Recounting how it all happened, “I was expecting my daughters after the closing hours of school on Thursday, expecting that there would be holidays on Friday and Monday. I was curious when I didn’t see them when they were supposed to have been home, only to receive a call from an unknown person, telling me that my daughters have been abducted.”

“I tried to make further enquiry about their whereabouts and the reason for abducting them, but the person just cut the call and has not called back since Thursday last week. I could not call back because he hid the number he used to call me. He let me hear the voice of my children to ascertain that they were in their captivity.

“The whole family has been in great fear and panic since last week, especially when we are yet to hear from the abductors. We haven’t heard the voices of our children since last week, we don’t know where they are, we don’t know what they eat, and we don’t know what they are doing with them.

Lamenting the heartbroken mother, “I don’t know why my three children were abducted, this is so terrible. We are appealing to anyone with useful information about their whereabouts to please contact the nearest police station or law enforcement officers.

However, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the case was not reported to any Police Station within the jurisdiction they claimed the incident occurred, ” the family should furnish the police with necessary information, but for now, I have called the Police Stations within Ikeja, but nothing like that was reported”.

Meanwhile, a police officer disclosed that the Area G Police Command, Ogba was investigating the case
