The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has ordered the arrest of a popular skit maker, Trinity Guy.
The FPRO had posted a video made by the skit maker on his Instagram account on Monday, calling for Trinity Guy’s arrest.
He had previously warned skit makers who use pranks for a living to regulate them because they endanger Nigerian lives.
He urged people who have been affected by the skit makers’ pranks to report them to the authorities, saying, “This doesn’t make any sense. I think the guy,Trinity Guy should have been arrested.
“Those individuals who feel the heat and fear of the pranks should be reporting the pranksters as many of their pranks are criminals, immoral, and evil. These women have a good case against him.”

“We have warned them severally. When nothing happens, nothing happens, but when something happens, consequences would surely follow. They will soon realise the dangers attributed to the excessiveness of doing unguarded pranks,” Adejobi said, while responding to a tweep who called his attention to other skit makers.
While some have commended the police for the steps taken to curb excessive pranks in the country, NIGERIACRIME gathered that others have berated the force saying that there are pressing issues bothering Nigerians.
Responding to Adejobi’s tweet, a tweep, @Urbanspirit09 queried, “What is an unguarded prank, sir? Something about the Nigerian government is they don’t want the youths to prosper. There came SMEs, they used policies to suffocate us, Crypto was also banned. Now that pranksters are doing well, they are jealous. Let the poor breath.”
Another tweep, @Ohmz said, “I was thinking maybe inviting one of them just for questioning would make others realise the police is actually watching. Like this particular one where a woman could have fallen wrongly and hit her head. Some are going too extreme, that woman is surely someone’s mother.”
