It was an unusual day for both Johnson Oluwashola, a young man trying to make a living in Lagos
Oluwashola, a hustler, and manager at Segetech limited sells gadgets such as new and fairly used computers, android phones in Dopemu area of Lagos.
He narrated how he was robbed in broad daylight, at the back of the national theatre in Iganmu, Lagos on Saturday.
Oluwashola said he had N6000 cash, an android phone and ATM when he arrived at the bridge near the theatre.

“I boarded a commercial bus calling Ikeja that was actually one chance and I noticed rather too late that most of the passengers on board the bus were actually comrades in crime,” he said.
“The robbers drove to a point, stopped and asked me to come down, slapped me several times and collected my N6,000 cash, my android phone and my ATM, asking for PIN which I gave them and they cleared the N70,000 in my account.
He added that he was beaten and told by one of the robbers to go home after giving him N5000.
The area is known to be dominated by people who smoke and drink alcohol.
When contacted, Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, said he is not aware of the incident.
