Three suspects who kidnapped a six years old girl from Kano have been arrested and paraded by Katsina State Police Command.
Nigeriacrime.com learned that the six years old victim identified as Fatima Abubakar was rescued unhurt.
According to the police, Nemesis caught up with the syndicate when they kidnapped one Fatima Abubakar, a six years old female of Bachirawa Quarters in Kano State on January 6th 2023 at about 11 pm and whisked her to Katsina State, demanding two million ransom.”
SP Gambo Isah, the spokesman of the Command while briefing the press disclosed that two of the suspects are residents in Katsina and their third party in Kano.
He said, “upon receipt of the information, immediately detectives from the command swung into action and caught red-handed one of the suspects Aliyu Salisu alias ‘Chilo’ in the process of receiving the ransom.
“In the course of investigation, the two other members of the syndicate were also arrested and the victim was rescued unhurt,” SP Gambo added.
In a related development a two-year boy named, John Mary, was reportedly rescued from his mentally derailed mother in the middle of the road along Osogbo-Ogbomoso road, Osun state.
Nigeriacrime.com learned that the child was rescued from his mother in Konkobilo area, Okinni, Egbedore Local Government Area of the state.
The Dada Estate Division of the Nigeria Police indicated that the baby was rescued by two residents of the state who took him to Jaleyemi Hospital’s motherless babies home for proper medical attention.
The police, therefore, enjoined members of the public, with relevant information aenjoinbout the families, or relatives of the boy or his unsound mother to contact the Police in the state for further action.
