Mrs. Hulaira Hussaini Ardo, wife of the Chief Imam of Nomadic Central Mosque in Rugan Ardo, Isyaka Adamu, has been killed by her abductors after her family paid the sum of N2 million as ransom to the bandits.
Recall that the deceased, who was shot dead, was earlier abducted on February 11, 2023, alongside three other co-wives and the bandits killed the Chief Imam of Nomadic Central Mosque in Rugan Ardo, Isyaka Adamu.
Her death was confirmed by the Madaki of Janjala, Samaila Babangida, who stated that the bandits refused to release her corpse and added that the whole community is mourning her untimely demise.

He made it known that a ransom of 2 million Naira was paid for the release of the four wives, but the senior wife was shot by the bandits, while the remaining three were released
He said it was after the ransom was taken to the bandits with the assurance to set free the four wives of the chief that the leader of the bandits shot and killed the senior wife and set free the remaining three.
“I boarded one of the motorcycles that took the money and foodstuff to them. It was after they collected the money that their leader opened fire on the senior wife,” he said.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige did not respond to calls and a text message sent to him.
