Osita Osinachi, a landlord has come out to ask for help to locate the family members of one of his female tenants identified as Blessing Effiong who died in one of his apartments.
Osita who called for help on his Facebook page said that the lady moved into his apartment in November and sadly died some days ago in the apartment after a brief illness. He stated that he was arrested by the police following her demise but that he was able to settle his way out. He is now seeking public help to locate her family members
According to him, two days ago, Wed Dec 21, 2022, the Police got me arrested because an Akwa Ibom Lady slept off and died in one of the rooms I gave to her as Rent.
Last month November, this Akwa Ibom Lady named Blessing Effiong came to me that someone gave her my contact that she heard that I do give out furnished apartments with beds.
I told her yes, and let her know the prices of each room, and she agreed to settle on room and parlour with her Benin boyfriend.
After she has made a payment, I asked if she is working or doing hookups or prostitution. She told me that she was working in a tiger nut drink Company, and then I gave her the keys to d apartment.
Fast-forward to last week Friday, She fell ill, and no one notified me about it, so there’s no way I could know about it. But by Monday this week, I went to her apartment to check on her so I can use the opportunity to let her know that her rent will be expiring in a week.”
But when I got there, she covered herself and told me that she has been sick for the past three days. I saw her sister in the room, and then I asked about her Benin boyfriend, she told me that her boyfriend has travelled to the Northern part of Ghana.
Then I asked if she’s has gotten some medicine before I wished her a fast recovery, and then left.
The next day Tuesday, an unknown number called, that they have admitted Blessing Effiong to Hospital and that they need my presence for a money deposit, I told them to carry on, that money is not a problem prob as I will be there shortly.”
After some minutes, I arrived at the Hospital and went straight to see the Doctor concerning her health, and the doctor told me that they have been doing their medical best in treatment.
I asked after the bills I and paid for everything, then I left for my business, not knowing that they later discharged her that same evening.”
By 7;30 pm that same evening, I got a call, that she is back home, I quickly rushed to see her, when I arrived at her apartment, I asked her about her family members, and if she can provide me with their contact, but she told me that her phone is off because it is not charged.
She promised that she will give me her family contact the next morning, that she is feeling sleepy.
Lo and behold, the next morning, she died and her relative sister staying with her ran away leaving d whole load for me alone.
Well, I went to the police station to explain everything to them before I settled dem with money, so it’s can be easy for them to escort me and the corpse to a police morgue since I don’t know her family.
Until now I can’t find her on Facebook and I haven’t heard from her boyfriend or her family members
Please people from Akwa Ibom should help me to Locate her family, as I have done over 300 hundred thousand naira in expenses in the past four days
