Nigerian Army alleged stray bullet, Kill commercial motorcyclist in Ibadan

Some Nigerian Army personnel have reportedly killed one person and injured another during a sporadic shootout in Apata, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

An eyewitness said that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, saying that they only saw soldiers’ vehicles pass through Brent, and all they heard were gunshots.

“Everyone ran for their lives; some lay on the floor to prevent stray bullets,” an eyewitness told Nigerian Tribune.

The eyewitness whose identity was not disclosed further revealed that the young man identified as Samuel, who is a commercial motorcyclist, was killed by the stray bullet and he died instantly.
