Police investigates murder of 15-year-old boy in Lagos

Operatives attached to Ago Palace division Lagos state police command is currently trying to unravel, the circumstances surrounding the murder of a teenager Jerome Chukwuemaka, at No. 54 Niyi Onilare Street, off Lateef Adegboyega Street, Ago-Okota.

The lifeless body of Jerome Chukwuemeka was discovered inside his room at about 5 pm.

NigeriaCrime.com gathered that the SS2 student had two hands tied to the back with a rope while his neck was slit.

According to Chubuike who found the lifeless body of Chukwuemeka, “when I came back from our shop at about 5:30 pm, I met their door open. Immediately I entered the house, I discovered the washing machine was on, and water was flowing without hearing the sound of Chukwuemeka in the house. I came outside to ask neighbours if they saw Chukwuemeka leaving for his mother’s shop and they said no.

“I went back inside and on opening Chukwuemeka’s room, I saw him laying lifeless with a knife stained with blood beside him and his room scattered.”

Describing the deceased, Chubuike said Emeka was an easygoing teenager.

Alleging that Chukwuemeka was strangled, a neighbour’s name withheld noted that we suspect that he was strangled based on the degree of the wound on the victim’s neck. The wound is not deep enough to snuff life out of anybody. “They must have strangled him to death and used the slit on his neck as a cover-up as if he killed himself.
