The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a suspected human trafficker, identified as Adebisi Muideen, for allegedly trafficking four teenage girls from Osun to Kano State.

It was learnt that the suspect was trafficking his victims via the Tripoli corridor in Libya.

However, three of the girls were said to have escaped when they got to Kano then linked up with their parents who reported the matter to the police.

The three survivors, according to report, have reunited with their parents in Osun State, while the whereabout of the fourth girl remains a mystery.

When interrogated by the police, the accused denied the allegations, stating that the girls willingly accepted to go to Libya for work.
