Suspected Yahoo Boy ‘Makes Girl Mad’ In Abia

A suspected Yahoo Boy has caused an unidentified girl to run mad.

Drama happened as the girl, who allegedly alighted from a tricycle, driven by the suspect started roaming the road in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.

The girl, who was seen misbehaving at Aba road, was talking to herself and trying to remove her long artificial hair. She was also seen trying to take off her shirt, revealing the black tube she wore underneath atop a pair of trousers.

Some transporters who commented on the incident, the Keke NAPEP rider dropped the girl at about 12:30 pm near Uchenna Bus Stop.

They alleged that a few minutes after the girl came down, she started hallucinating and rolling on the ground.

She could not answer questions by passers-by.

It is unknown if the Keke NAPEP rider is connected to her situation or her guest had paid him to drop her off on the road.

In another development, a 36-year-old man, Victor Ameh, was on Thursday arraigned in a Kaduna Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing N4.2 million from a crypto currency firm.

Ameh, a resident of Marafa in Kaduna, was charged with conspiracy and theft.

The prosecution, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on July 20, at Ungwan Rimi, Kaduna.

Leo alleged that the defendant conspired with one other at large and unlawfully withdrew N4.2 million from his employer’s account.

He further said that the defendant was arrested when investigation into the matter was carried out.

He said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 287 (7) and 217 of the Penal Code of Kaduna State, 2017.

The defendant pleaded not guilty.

Magistrate Ibrahim Emmanuel admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N1 million with one surety in like sum.

Emmanuel said the surety, who must be a blood relation to the defendant, must be gainfully employed and have evidence of two years’ tax payment to the Kaduna State Government.

He adjourned the case until Dec. 9 for hearing.
