The police in the United Kingdom have arrested a Nigerian student, Cyril Kenneth, for allegedly attempting to sexually harass minors.
NIGERIACRIME gathered that the suspect arrived in the UK barely three months ago.
The incident reportedly happened in the Belfast province of the UK.
Additionally, the police in UK accused Kenneth of grooming and sexually harassing the young girls.
The suspect confessed to chatting with children between the ages of 14 and 15, in a viral video.
Confessing, Kenneth said, “We chat, I asked if they liked me, and I asked about their age. They told me 14. They are just two, and we began talking after I got here because I was bored and new to the country.
“I always asked if their mothers were at home to be sure of the kind of messages I sent to them.”

Kenneth also sent his unsolicited indecent pictures, asking some of them for their house addresses. He had invited one of them to his house for sex, among other disturbing messages.
The suspect, however, blamed the devil for tempting him and pleaded for mercy, and promised to desist from such acts.
Meanwhile, operatives of the Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested identical twins, Takwan Potential and Takwan Peter, and 26 others for alleged internet fraud in Calabar, Cross River State.
The suspects were arrested on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, following credible intelligence linking them with suspected internet-related fraud.
The other 26 suspects were identified as Takwan Emmanuel, Kelvin Onedu, Evans Edwin, David Osuji, Osang Tony, Confidence Oblech, Uche Chinedu, Gabriel Kanong, Ojong Victor, Ephraim Ikechukwu and Shedrack Mfon.
Others are Godswill Omini, Walter Opha, Godswill Iti, Moses Sha, Prince Uba, Anyi Bassey, David Disi, Peter Silas, Christian Uche, Chidindu Oforji, Kelvin Anyanwu, Anthony Ojone, Samuel Disi, Gideon Joseph and Ezekiel Francis.
Preliminary investigations showed that while some of the suspects specialized in love scams, others engaged in fraudulent impersonation and obtaining by false pretence.
Items recovered from them include several mobile phones, laptops, five cars and a wifi device.
The anti-graft agency added that suspects will soon be charged to court.
